PAM 127 is a modern Panerai classic known as Fiddy, born in 2002 as an almost identical replica of a modified 6152/1 with Angelus 240 movement, this Special Edition with an amazingly domed sapphire crystal.
Thanks to Iwan Samuel from Samstraps, my Junior High-School buddy, now it has Arjuna straps from Pandava brothers from the story of Mahabharata.
Look, how beautiful my Fiddy.

It's been a while since my last blog about: Father & Son Holiday Project: Leather Sling Bag or should I say Backpack.

Today is a simple post of a prototype requested or I can say a challenge by a friend to create a simple wallet that can hold several cards and some bank notes. Please just watch the unedited video below.

Father & Son Holiday Project: Leather Sling Bag or should I say Backpack

For almost 3 years I've been using my own personal leather bag designs daily and have found a lot of ways to improve them.
So this is my latest design together with my son during his holiday.

It was a sling bag at the first design process, while finalizing, Matthew insisting to have 2 straps so it can be used as a backpack also. Total 3 days in the making process from pattern design, leather cutting, stitching and finalizing the bag.

Enjoy the photos as I enjoyed making the bag and the fun we had together.

The story of poisonous mind, has made these into my collections. The story how my Seiko 5 Sport (Seiko Sea Urchin - SNZF17K1), from the untouchable mode, dial modification and lume shot at night.

This is also a new addition to the family because of it uniqueness of the watch, it is a reproduction of a US brand, using Chinese cheap movement but it looks so cute in my hands.

Messenger Bag - July 2013

It's been a while since my last creation, last week I started my new messenger bag project. Now I decided to use zipper, a promised I made to my son Matthew. Hope he like what I made. The pictures below show how I start the project.

The Passion:
I love bag. I collect bags, but never satisfied with what I bought, so I started making bags for my own use for a while. This is my ninth bag. I need a simple, rugged, vintage style made by leather. Then I realized other people were looking for the same thing. So the passion is I make the products I wanted for myself.  It’s that simple. Inspired by simplicity and a deep sense of clean form, I believes vintage products is born.

The Reason:
I have Surface Pro for quite sometime, and I think it needs a new vintage style messenger bag.

As previous bags, all stitches are hand-stitching, no machine was used during the process of making the bag. And my fingers still feel numb. Enjoy the pictures as I enjoy making it.

My 2012 Resolution: PAM448

On SIHH 2012 Panerai introduce Radiomir California and S.L.C. Special Editions to feed the addiction for vintage-inspired Paneristi. This two models, known by their references, PAM448 and PAM449 SLC, respectively, are faithful versions of two famous Paneristi of the 1930s.

But my choice is PAM448. Why? Because of the superior in-house movement and ecru markers.  I think it is a richer, more desirable piece of the two and it limited to 750 pieces.

I hope I manage to get one PAM448. I'm counting on you ET.
